Christmas 2025

Voila my fully stocked drinks fridge.

Every single label is facing the correct way. It is very pleasing to mine eye!

Gonna be annoyed when someone takes a drink out and messes up the order! 🤣
A for effort.

Z for execution. Wingman? Madri? Cruzcampo? Good god man. If I ever see you down the city ground, remind me to give you a slap 😆

41C forecast for Xmas day, will take my (English) wife for her traditional swim with a bottle of bubbly.

My job is to stand on the shoreline and look for sharks.....:ROFLMAO:
…hopefully not having to worry about there being any Irukandji about.

That was one thing that I didn’t appreciate about the glorious coastline of mid-northern Queensland…tricky swimming much of the year - even though you might see a saltie you wouldn’t escape it, and as far as the Irukandji and their mates 😳…must stick to the box the lifeguards had swept that morning…but even then we didn’t. We simply walked the glorious beaches and viewed the sea with cautious awareness - though not at dusk or at night…and even in the middle of the day taking the advice of locals on any saltie presence.

No Irukandji on this side of OZ......but in the early 80's when I was in Cairns they were everywhere, hence no swimming in the surf, I was lucky to be told by a local just before I went in at place called Clifton Beach about 15 miles north of Cairns, not a hotel to be seen, now they have taken over.

Big Tesco near me is open at 6am
I got there 2 minutes before 7am. That was early enough.
Whizzed round getting all the veg and provisions for the next 8 days or so. Filled tank with petrol and home by 7:45am. No hassle.
Just got a few more prezzies to wrap for in-laws and extended family. Exchange those today and tomorrow as usual.
Two quiet evenings ahead, just me'n'er, before the day.
Sorted.
Happy.
