Challenge Tour Pro
i dont use one myself. ive had a go with a mates around the 9hole course and it does exactly what it says on the tip. with a bit of practice i think anyone could become a wizard with it. The big golf manufacturers stay clear of them as pros dont use them. if taylor made brought out their new 2012 chipper i believe people would be all over it. its the smaller cheaper brands that make them so theres an elitist side to it. i can see the benefits of these clubs to people starting out and anyone with a 20+ handicap should have one of these in the bag.
Have to agree with this,I used a chipper not long after I started playing and it is a easy club to use, when I got better I used a 7i.
As a experiment I think Tiger should forget his dislike for this club, and get hold of one and use it for 5or 6 rounds,
