So after a bad experience with a ball I bought from ebay I've decided to start buying brand new.

Normally I use Srixon AD333, but I'm thinking of changing to Z Stars or maybe even Pro V 1's - the only thing is the price...

Do i stick with the £12 AD333's or try out a £30 z star / pro v1...

Why not try them..?
Maybe get a couple of sleeves - nothing to lose....everything to gain.

Or maybe go halves and try the Trispeed

have you considered the Callaway TOUR i(s) or i(z) I tried them in competition this weekend and was pretty impressed. I did find it firing off the putter face more than a Prov1 but that actually helped me not be short especially on lag putts

Why not try the Wilsons. The DX2 soft or the DX3 soft they are superb ball and very affordable, lots for sale on ebay from online pro's. Give one a whirl they are great balls.

Where can you get a dozen Srixon Ad333's from for £12?

Is the correct answer. Although I have just bought myself a few dozen Nike PD Softs to try out over the course of the next few weeks. At £12.99 a dozen from Sports Direct, it would have been rude not to wouldn't it?
But my ball of choice is usally a DX3.

I've gone for a dozen pro v1's as I have a couple of z stars to try - £29.99 for the pro v1's

£32.00 for the Prov1's or is there a different link?

Certainly give them a try and see if you notice a difference but nothing wrong with the AD333's. Its a very good ball for the price.

Why not try the ProV practice ball(not lake balls) £19.19 a doz. Usually a mix of proV1s and ProV1x's. They just have practice printed on them. You can use them in the comp's as well.

£29.99 was an instore deal

Speaking as someone who had a PB with Arnold Palmer Bay Hill titanium balls at £10 for 24, I'd say you were wasting your money buying anything other than a decent mid-range ball, and even then, it's so as not to be embarrassed to introduce a Pinnacle on the 1st tee.

Wilson Dx2/3
Nike PD soft
Srixon - anything under £20
Noodles?

I had back to back 77s last year with Wilson Ultra Balls from Morrisons.
