I swapped to a 17degree 3 wood and it goes like a rocket and certainly further than I could hit a 15degree one
17yds longer-ier!!!
A 17° 3 wood has to be easier to hit than a 15° one, it just has to be.
I would be very surprised if the majority of golfers get a significant distance gap between a 3 wood and a 5 wood, mostly there's 3° between them - what's that? About 10 yards? If hit well…..
Don't forget we're talking about average golfers, not low single figure players who make 8 or 9 out 10 3 wood shots.
I suspect more players will hit a 17° wood further than a 15°...
wait till your swing changes kick in Murph, you will be smashing it![]()
Not being rude ... But you have pretty much summed up why your where you are!its a man thing.... got to go for it
maybe thats why my handicap wont come down lol
Sorry! It's your lucky night, usually I am unreasonable and a grump ...harpo, stop being reasonable
I could probably play 3 x 7 irons on par 5's and be on the green lol. Actually, maybe I have missed a trick here!!!
