What a beautiful golfer, lovely swing and solid putter as well, dont think I have witnessed such a commanding performance in a long time, seems like a nice down to earth chap as well.

Enjoyed watching him over the weekend.

Short course and a weak field gives the average joes a shot at this event each year.

He did well of course but don't expect to see any more of him this year.

Must be a straight hitter to go round that course in 20 under is amazing as i know guys who've played and say its as tight as a ducks arse

I quite like the guy and saying you wont see much of him this year is not very nice

1 win
3 Top 10
6 Top 25 and 7th in the fed ex cup aint bad going at all

Yes average Joe who has now won twice on tour! :D

It was nice and refreshing to see that the ability to play precision golf has payed off. Tree line narrow fairways made it almost impossibe for the grip it and rip it brigade to win for once.
Big up for Brian Gay and i hope we see him on a more regular basis.
It's a pitty that there are not a few more courses used on the tour that reward the ability to hit straight and think you way around the course.

Just an observation when his name is on the leaderboard it reads Gay Brian :D :D small things small minds etc i know but it just made me laugh

Regardless of the field or anything else, he's got his exemption for the next 2 years or however long it is.

And you've still got to play the course. Would Phil or Tiger have been much lower to par than -20??

I doubt it.

It was a good performance with something like 3 or 4 bogeys all week which is good going in any field. Its a shame it comes after the Masters as I always like the course as it is a thinkers course and not one for the blasters and think it would be a truely great event with a stronger field trying to keep it straight and hit the smallest greens on the PGA tour.

He seems a decent guy with a nice family so fair play to him
