Now critical condition. Just wonder how much this was played down as its been a while since reported.
I hope he comes out of it unscathed - I have a lot of admiration for his competitive edge and no doubt he was pushing himself as far as possible whilst skiing.

Quite often, if there is a head injury, patients will be kept in an induced coma until the swelling that is connected with head injuries goes down. There is quite a strong possibility that he has been operated on to alleviate the swelling.

Jeez, now 'fighting for his life'. I sincerely hope he wins the battle but how much damage he's suffered i guess they'll not know until and only if, he comes round. Not good.

Some really positive news that he's no longer in a coma and has been discharged from that hospital to get rehabilitation treatment elsewhere

Great news for him and his family. One thing i pondered though when hearing this, if it wasn't schumi in a coma for 6 months and it was me, would they have switched me off 4 months ago?
