Best player not to win a major - yet?

At the moment it has to be Stenson for me, Fowler is a bit odd in that he hasn't really won anything but keeps showing up in the majors and getting close you kind of think Fowler will win a major before getting his next (second?) PGA Tour win!

But since that was a dig at the lovers, I'd have to say Monty was close on a few occasions, think Westwoods chance has gone now, Donald won't, neither will Poulter. I'd like to see Stenson do it or any european tbh.........

Of those playing in majors for 10+ years (which I think is what OP was getting at) I would go Sergio, followed by Westwood.

Now though, any of Day, Johnson, Fowler and Reed are the current 'best players not to win a major' - IMHO of course. They'll be where my e/w money goes this year anyway!
