Lindrick, closely followed by Ganton. I think Lindrick's green are probably the best I've ever played on in over 40yrs of golf

Remedy's seem to be going downhill whenever I play there, when it first opened they were lovely but nowhere near as good now. Pity as they let a very good course down :(

Heard a couple of people say that. In fairness to the course it was in immaculate condition when we played so can only comment on that one round but would be a shame if that course did suffer because of it - one of the most beautiful inland courses I've played with some amazing holes.

Chart Hills on Sandy's GM meet in September. Like putting on glass and very true, just how I like them, don't think I had a 3 putt all day...it was just the getting to the green part that caused me some bother.

I thought Chart Hills were the best I'd ever played them that day and yesterday West Hill did run true and even.

Bowood was very very good,as were west hills yesterday!

The greens at my gaff are always excellent (except one green which is only 12 months old) so i am quite spoiled!

Played Donnington in march this year on the weekend of the snow  Only got to play the front 9 twice but even then the greens held up really well. Fortunately they gave us a free round in may because of the march weather and the greens were superb, very true and very fast.

Yes the pesky white stuff caused a few issues! Excellent glad you enjoyed them :) Still holding up very well now.

Yes ill second that yours are good and v fast in the summer but in the winter ......?? uh oh! sogsville! Bowood... I was very disappointed with in the last 3 years Ive played there.... must be unlucky.

Sorry I didnt get chance to catch you yesterday but I did spot you (The only man who clearly was sponsored and dressed by Taylor Made and demanding hair gel in the showers!!! :o ) I think you nearly knocked someone's sausage sarnie out of their hand with your drive at the half way hut!! :D

LOL, was that your group on the 12th green as i played my 2nd on 14 from the wrong side of the halfway hut?? I may have made one of the ultimate golfing faux-pas then too... me and one of partners both went that way, his was a provisional though and he found his first... thought the 4 ball on 12 were all on the green so picked up what i thought was my partners provisional.... Ooops!

Oh and if you ever need hair gel, look no further than Jezz from GM

Oh and the drainage has got a lot better, apart from the really really wet stuff we had in Jan ish, its been fine! I reckon we need a home and away match soon!

Do you not notice the white out of bounds posts running the correct side of the halfway hut ?

I have to say my own course - Donnington Grove - has had the best greens this year I have played and I have played a lot of good tracks fortunately this year. :) Some for the greens in le Touquet were a close second... They are superb at the moment but in the mid summer they were just unbelievably quick and true (pity the bunkers are crap!) . The Japanese spent millions on them when they owned the club and being sand based etc just makes them very versatile and we never go on temporaries even in the winter. West Hill's were v good yesterday and The Oxfordshire were ok but not quite top 5. Playing Frilford Heath next week and Hanbury Manor the week after renowned for being a decent "Jack" track so we'll see.

Played Frilford Heath red a couple of years ago, nice layout but the greens were an embarrassment to them, slow, bumpy and generally very poor, I trust that they have improved since. The greens at Hanbury are quite good normally, hope you didn't pay too much for the round as it's not the greatest layout IMO

Edinburgh (South) Course at Wentworth. Fast, true and cinsistent so just make me feel good about putting!

Which demonstrates what they can do if not restricted by what 'The Tour' decides they should have!
