Best broadband deals?

Bit of a thread revival…
Virgin has been installed on our street so I ordered it a couple of weeks ago, I’ve successfully cancelled my Sky tv and broadband package which finishes in a couple of weeks time. It now transpires I don’t have a solid installation date from Virgin so I could be without broadband for a while
I’ve noticed Now do a no contract broadband package which interested in, has anyone had any dealings with this?

I've lost count of how many times I've heard that about VM in the last two weeks.

I've lost count of how many times I've heard that about VM in the last two weeks.

I'm prepared to wait for a massively faster download speed but why give me an option for an install date and then not contact me when it isn't being honoured.
