I am going on a golfing holiday to Turkey on Saturday. Yesterday I met a golfer who has visited the Belek region before. Allegedly they charge you 7,50 Euro a pint :p

Has anybody been to Sueno golf club?
Did you drink (and pay) a beer?
How much do you pay for a pint at your club?
(at mine it's 3,10 Euro)

Was paying the same when I went to Sorrento.

I pay about £3.00 - £4.00 a pint down my way, the down side of living in a posh bit of Surrey.

Beer in Turkey??? I thought this was some kind of Christmas game or advice or something.

Anyway, Hywell £4.00 a paint, jesus wept. (he would if he drunk your end) We pay about £1.80-£2.20

I know mate, it aint good news when your on a big session. Most pubs are about the £3.00 mark but the gtolf clubs are a bit posh.

all I know is that at ours, which isn't a club bar, you don't get many for a tenner and that's with the discount card. a guiness, red stripe and a kirrin eats it up, then there's Irish John and his Jameson

Hi

I have been to Sueno golf club, played the Pines course ( this is the best one btw ). The first hole is unbelievable, the fairway is like a rollercoaster.

I cant remember the prices of the beer in the club house, but I do remember the guy who comes round with a buggy full of beer and water tried to rip me off royally. He claimed not to speak any English and shrugged when I told him he had short changed me. He soon caught on when I shouted at him though!! You see sometimes it does work if you shout at non English speakers !!

Have fun, it is a great course.

Can't remember the last time I bought a pint over the bar rather than at the supermarket.

Must say I did think drinking beer whilst eating Turkey was a bit odd, actually what I thought of is not really printable...rofl. Though after reating the opening post, all became clear. Not really Au'fait with Euro prices & exchange rates so can't really comment further on the matter.

How did you enjoy the course out there ?

Did you play any others ?

What condition were they in this time of year ?

I'm going back again this year for 10 days and very much looking forward to it.

Colin.
