Cavwndish all the way for me. His year was the equivelent of Tiger's best and none of the golfers matched that.
Now as much as I liked Clarke's Open vicory he hasn't been a champion to aspire to IMO. A great talent who finally produced the goods but hasn't always been an inspiring golfer, lacked application (even beofre the unfortunate and terrible loss of his Wife) and has since shown that he'll live of the one victory for the rest of his career. Great personality but not the kind of champion I'd want winning spoty.
The BBC should change it to Sports Person of the Year.

was going to have a punt but at 6/5.. no chance unless you had money to give away then 6k would be a decent return. Bit of a gamble though.
