Think you missed my irony in the first two words!! That's some feat of skill to hit all three cables in one round

The wires carry hundreds of thousands of volts with the off chance that something may possibly pass to the ball and then be hit by a metal object in the hand - it's purely a safety reason even if the chance of something happening is one in a million if not a damn sight more longer odds.

And when the ball lands it is earthed. Loving the idea that the ball can become a capacitor!:rofl: and we have a family of pixies next to our 16th green...:rofl:
