There aren't many clubs that don't have a members website (or members area of a public website) where documents can be published so they are available for members to download at any time and wherever they are. With the best will in the world if a Handicap Chair has informed all the members in an email a year ago about the club’s pre registration process for foreign scores, how many members will remember what was written and the protocol is.
Isn’t it slightly incumbent on the member who is going away on a trip ( hardly a last minute decision) to check with the Handicap Committee as to how to put their scores in?
How often do you need to bore all the members, the vast majority of whom are never going to submit an overseas scores, with this information.
