Are you ready for the new season and if not what do you need to work o

Need to get the short game sorted which I'll get a lesson for and I could do with something to hit more fairways otherwise I'm starting to play well in patches and hit the ball much better. It's coming

Just going to try to ease my way back in after my lay off and not put too much pressure on myself. Got a lesson booked and bought a couple of swing weights that fit on a club to help me build my strength and swing speed back up as I've lost a fair bit of power, although the basics seem to be OK. Need to get fitter too but I'll probably just rely on playing to sort that out.

I can't wait until we're back on to normal tees, fairways etc. I've been working hard this winter on my swing and with the help of some new bats i'm well up for playing a lot of golf this year.

Two areas still need some work, namely driving accuracy and putting. Once these 2 are behaving better i expect to knock at least 4 shots off the handicap this year, and who knows, single figures?

After your performance on Saturday at mine of the whites me and Paul reckon you can get there mate no probs.

Really need to work on my driving which has been shocking a duck hook with a very short back swing don't where its come from.Played to day round in 81 in a stiff breeze, but my irons and short game made that score my driving was horrendous.

I don't think I'll ever consider myself ready for the start of the season.

Short game as always needs attention and most of all Bunkers - got to get out of the habit of quitting on the shot.

There is always something that can be worked on but that doesn't mean that I can't wait for it to start.

In fact I'll know its just around the corner when the works society has their initial outing at Hinckley on 23rd lardy breakfast included of course.

I havnt started my short game practise yet but I guess i'll get round to it in a couple of weeks. I've done a bit of work on tightening my wedge yardages and they are coming along nicely. I've been controlling my wedges pretty well this winter after not hitting anything longer than a normal wedge on the practise area all winter. I'll work a little harder on this the nearer it gets to April.

I dont do long game practise as I work on that around the course during my rounds

My short game stuff wont take long to do as I can usually do 2-3 hours on 2-3 days per week once I get round to it. It usually pays to wait until the greens have calmed down after their spiking and dressing through March.
