Does anyone know where hair clippers are still available online? They seem to be sold out everywhere. I am thinking about buying a curling iron to buy myself another couple of weeks.
Not sure about online, but we got a new set from boots today as other ones weren’t great ??

I remember years ago, my Missus was giving Mathew (one of our boys) a trim. She had done the back and the sides but he had quite a long fringe and when she got to that bit he kept squirming away.
She kept trying, but he kept squirming. She came and told me what he was up to, so I stomped out to the kitchen, told him to sit down and sit still, and went at him with them.
Sadly, she had forgotten to tell me that she had removed the guide so he ended up with a number 1 all the way back from his forehead.
I had to do the same all over in the end.
He had blonde hair anyway, and looked like he had been through Chemo. We nicknamed him the "Chernobyl Kid" for a while....
He brought a letter back from his schoolteacher the following day telling us not to cut his hair so short.

whats it got to do with a school or teacher how short you decide, as a parent, how short you cut your children’s hair?

You'd be surprised Robin. When I was a kid, we had to have a letter of authority from our parents if we went in the local barbers alone and asked for what was then called a "crewcut" (I think this was the predecessor of a graded cut)....
I don’t think we’re that far apart age wise, but I had all the popular haircuts of the time whilst at school, mainly feathered but my Bowie & Stewart cuts we’re particular favourites of mine, and with the ladies ??, never once was I spoken to about hairstyles ?
Had a couple of Skinhead girls with No1’s in my year, I thought their short hair was more sexy than the long blonde girls ?

Saying that, I bought one for £44 because that was available this morning instead the one you linked. But that has a taper function too. I will find out what taper is once I read the manual.
