I was booked in for a trim on Tuesday as lockdown was announced on the Monday night. I have the job of doing HID's anyway but no way is he coming near mine.

Wife did mine yesterday, she did a pretty good Job actually. I had a set of clippers sitting around from when i had a crew cut.
i think its was really titting her off, made me shave too..
only downside is she now wants me to trim hers

It got too much .. managed a 3 all over apart from the bald bits. The trimmers decided to play silly beggars and I could hear my wife telling me I was an idiot with a chunk of hair missing ... phew just got called an idiot

I've gone the other way with this now. I've gone through the 'God I really need a haircut' phase and out the other side - now it's more "this is interesting actually.. let's leave it for a while longer and see what happens." My hair is very thick and curlier the longer it gets, so ideal scenario, I'll end up looking like a lion. Rawr!

Buzzed a No.4 through it today. 3 was too short.
It does get easier when done regularly. Far less mess, and it really doesn't matter if I miss a bit, as I will get it next time.

Scalped by a no 3. Pretty short but it'll grow back in no time. Impressed with the trimmers I bought - might never go back to the barber.
