Just watching the tv, looks like we are getting to snipping point ?
Wife won’t let me do the boys hair .. he is looking like a little woolly bear ! But ears and eyes still exposed.

Haven't had my hair this long since the mid 70's.

Just waiting for the clippers I ordered, dread to think what it will look like after I let the wife loose with them.

I have clippers, used to have to do emergency cuts when the racing and testing was too frequent. I’ll just do a no.3 all over nice and simple.

I've been asking the wife to do it for two weeks. She's more scared than I am. I couldn't care less what it looks like, I'm not going to see anyone. Not many photo opportunities.

Mine was due to be cut a couple of weeks before the lockdown but the lady who does it was isolating, so it never got done and then the lockdown kicked in. I'm leaning into it now, but will shortly be sporting a titfer a lot more.

Maybe got another couple of weeks until my 6-7 weekly No.1 all over...just like I've been doing for 20 years...
Try it..you know it makes sense...

Been a No. 2 in winter, No. 1 in summer for some time now; used to wear a crash helmet at work & it was the only thing that looked halfway presentable when you took it off. Have got a set of clippers but I do miss getting the "full treatment" with the cut throat razor & the flaming cotton bud. It will be one of my first "treats" when they reopen.

I often do the sides of mine between cuts with the trimmer part of an electric razor. Last week I decided the back needs doing. Whoops as a slight tremor of the hand mean I pushed in too far.

Quick check with phone camera and sure enough a definite chunk gone.

Maybe it is time to bring back the pudding basin cut,as seen in Peaky Blinders, and what a lot of us children got in the 50s.
