despite all the snow going by Thursday night, it was all back again by friday lunch time, so no golf for me today.

This is the first Saturday i have missed with bad weather since Jan of 2013.

so anyone else miss out today?

missed out since October......central belt parkland courses dont stand up well in winter
 
Went to the club but covered white. Looks like it will be the same tomorrow so none for me.

Really need to get out for a game, haven't been so far this year. Tried every weekend but the course just hasn't been open when I've been able to go.
 
Ive not played on a proper course since the summer! No money, no job and busy trying to find employment.

Now I have a job I have no time and the weather is rubbish...
 
I was up early this morning for a Canadian Greensomes thingymajig only to find the course closed, I haven't had a decent 18 holes for a few weeks now. some kind of golf rehab needed :angry:

We had booked St Andrews Jubilee for 10.48 and arrived at 10.00 to find the course closed because of frost, but an inspection due at 10.30. Unfortunately the 10.30 inspection wasn't good and most who were waiting decided to give up. A further inspection at 11.00 opened the course and we managed to tee off at 11.10. A great day in the sunshine if a tad chilly.
 
We had only 14 holes open on Wednesday and Friday, closed altogether Thursday...
Probably had just the 14 today and probably tomorrow too.
Don't play weekends often but could get out Monday depending on the weather - no snow to speak of, just wetness!
 
Yes because I am in Madrid, where the forecast is for heavy snow!
 
Not played for 4 weeks, which isn't unusual for me in winter... I'll scrape the rust off in a couple of weeks time, just as the temp gets back above zero
 
Thought I would be sensible and go to the range, hit 10 balls, pulled a muscle had to give the other 90 to the guy next to me. Last time I am going to be sensible!:mad:
