anyone else not play today?

First time in over 2 years the course got put onto temporarys. Refuse to play on them...so stayed in bed!

not played for 2 weeks - nearly did today but hadn't arranged anything and the course was rammed. Playing tomorrow on the links with a few reprobates - looking forward to it :D

Haven't played since mid September, and won't even think about playing again until March. Far too cold to enjoy a game of golf!!!!!! Having 5 months off a year really isn't ideal, but I can't abide Winter Golf

18 holes in the cold but glorious blue skies. We managed to dodge the weather and im out tomorrow for a texas scramble and the forecast is even better!!! That said, every picture i see of the NW has snow in so im not holding my breath.

Thought I would be sensible and go to the range, hit 10 balls, pulled a muscle had to give the other 90 to the guy next to me. Last time I am going to be sensible!

Join the club. I took the Mizuno jpx850 into American golf for a midsize grip. They had a flightscope installed so it would be rude not to have a go on it. 15 drives, 6 irons later I am in bits and ready to ring my chiropractor.

Is this club cursed? been injured non stop since I got it.

flightscope is some job. Amazing seeing AOA and path. I could spend all day on that thing.

I've played 2 rounds since the beginning of November, oh and zero range sessions !!! :-(

Worked yesterday and today, not that bothered as even if I was off its white out there so there'd be no chance of a round anyway.

Working next weekend also so think the next chance I will get to play a round will be the 31st Jan (if the wife lets me that is)

Snow on the ground up here so no golf on the course. It was expected so booked a couple of hours on a sim for this afternoon to satisfy the golfing bug.

Course inspection was due at 11am, and as the frost as just about gone... but when I just checked the website its now saying course closed. Rang them, and now there's an inch of snow on it...

We are closed today, not sure why, I played on Friday and it was fine although very wet underfoot, maybe there is snow lying, but there is not near home, course is 3 miles away, it is foggy though.

Tee'd off at 8.10am in the winter league, frozen course but a perfect morning and me and my partner (Dad) were playing well.

Snow started coming down on our 5th hole and we braved it for 3 holes but we had to walk off as by the time I walked to my 350 yard drive the ball was covered in a inch of snow.

Frosty start at 8 am but by by the time we'd finished it had all but disappeared.

I wish the course had been closed though, was on the receiving end of a proper hiding as me and my partner lost 8 & 6 in the Winter League, I can't remember ever getting such a thumping. :o

We didn't play that badly either, it was just one of those days where things seemed to go well for the opposition and badly for us.
