Another weekend, another rain-off

The weekend looking better, well Saturday at least. Back to the course for the first time in a month. Looking forward to it

Not for us it isn't. Infact it's rain everyday for the next 10 days:( Can't see this Thursdays competition going ahead nor the ones on Saturday and Sunday. If it is as bad as the forecast we're hoping the practice ground will still be open.

Not good. Hope the practice ground is ok and you can scratch the golfing itch somehow

Just checked BBC weather, rain up to and including Friday, better on Saturday. If that turns out to be accurate then it's looking like another range practice week...

Finally got to play on course today, 14* but windy and squally showers so waterproofs on, but no need for base layers or pullovers!

Can only speak for myself but I just enjoyed being out there, scored reasonably well given course and weather conditions and it was good to be playing rather than practicing. :fore:

Only our front 9 open and that was borderline as we had rain this morning even though every forecast said it wasn't coming until lunchtime 😠

Got 16 holes in before 1 of the others in my 4-ball got injured, just good to get out there though and swinging, although I'm slow out the blocks just lately.

Been very lucky around here - lovely weather here , short sleeve weather full course open and the greenkeepers still out cutting the fairways and greens. Nice weather still ahead for the week

Rain here all afternoon. Sacked any thoughts of 9 holes. Playing links tomorrow so no problems in that respect. Sun supposed to make an appearance.

Unbelievably mild. Happy days.

I Walked out of the house this morning and thought I'd walked straight into Spring it was so warm. There are daffodils growing on my front lawn for Christ sake, has no one told the world it's December?

I know some parts of the country are getting drowned but it was lovely on the course down my way today and forecast to be quite nice tomorrow too, although the weather forecast says it's gonna drop to a cold 12 degrees!

Yeah think I'll need a jumper on tomorrow - just at the start though. It's amazing how mild it is

Not a shock that ours is closed today after the quantity of rain we had again from yesterday afternoon and overnight. Should be the Christmas mixed competition today so I feel sorry for the organisers of it as they put a lot of work into it.

Things looked bright till just after we teed off at Playsport East Kilbride this morning , then it turned dark with rain sleet and high winds. We walked in after 2 holes soaked through.
On the bright side they gave us a credit.
