Has the number of stabbings gone up, or just the fatality rate? I was reading an interview with some copper from London, and they were saying that you used to get a lot of stabbings, but they were one stab, with a simple knife. Now, they are multiple stabs, with serrated zombie style knives, that are impossible for a paramedic to staunch. Hence fatalities are on the up.
