Hi everyone,
Just taken up the game properly this winter after previous attempts over a number of years. These mainly involved hacking aimlessly around courses until I got so frustrated that I decided to quit this "stupid game" on a number of occasions.
Being older and wiser these days I've taken a bit more of a measured approach, and invested in a few lessons up front, which have really sparked my enthusiasm. I've been lurking around the forums for a few weeks now, and have found them a really useful source of info and advice.
Anyway, thought I'd finally say hello, and point you guys in the direction of this link that I found on the Guardian website today. Apologies if this has been posted before - it's Padraig Harrington swinging Happy Gilmore style - I'm not sure it's the right thing to be watching when I'm having trouble hitting the ball at all!
