Absolutely Fabulous?

HID dragged me out to see the new Ab Fab movie tonight and, to be fair, I'm not much of a film goer. Also I never much watched the TVs show, so was it as good as the programme?

Ive got to say that it was one of the worst, most over rated films I've ever had the misfortune to be dragged along to see, ever! It was a really weak story line, hardly any real laughs and just a vehicle for about 50 celebs to pop up in anything but a cameo - that's 90 minutes of my life that having a kip in my armchair would have been by far a better option - even HID said it was crap!

i always thought the series was rubbish anyway when forced to watch it . nice to hear the movie version wont be changing my mind on it.

The sitcom is being rehashed on Gold and I'm still not any more of a fan than I was first time around. Not making me wanting to rush out and see the film version

Sounds like another poor film like dads army.

cant wait to watch Independence Day and Star Trek, proper mans films.

People have slated both this & Dad's Army as films yet both had great followings as sitcoms; were the films just badly done, or does the sitcom format not transfer well to the big screen?

I wasn't a regular watcher of Ab Fab but I can't believe just how bad the film was, it was just a procession of actors/comedians etc popping up one after another just to say they'd been in the film
