Up here in Oban one really wicked squall came battering in around 4 yesterday afternoon, was full on lightning and torrential downpour for maybe 15 mins, dropped off a good bit but stayed pretty squally overnight but this morning is fairly pleasant, just breezy and quite bright. Still got a yellow be aware status in place for today as there are gales forecast later but as far a storms go pretty tame, as usual totally sensationalised by media as some kind of a 'story'.
Nasty here this morning, really cold at 5.45 when walking Max then at 7.30 the heavens opened with some piercing rain in high winds, that was the advance party having a recce as its settled down again now but its coming back later
