A shot in the arm for Scottish football

I'd be on the border waving them off.

Take the oppertunity to restructure Scottish football without the bigot brothers.

Expand to 14 or 16 team top tier. Have a division below and have a structure where junior teams such as Arthurlie, Pollok, Auchenleck, Irvine Meadow etc can qualify for the leagues through play offs etc.

Move to summer football, bring in a must play 5 home born players, must field 2 under 21's and watch Scottish football deveop from grass roots right the way up again.

Already a '3 u-21 player' rule Craw...granted in the squad not the team but there is this in place.

We need to go further than that though. If we had a decent Scottish National Team manager instead of Avril we could really kick on.

If we're letting Celtic in, let the others in also. Aberdeen, Hibs, Dundee united etc. It shouldn't just be the old firm.

Then let the rest of Scottish football just be like the league of Wales (part timers).

I'm sure if Aberdeen did well and even if only championship would prefer seeing the likes of Leeds, Newcastle, West Ham etc (who have all been in that division recently, or still are) rather than St.Mirren 4 times a year.

It should not just be the preserve of the big two, but the other professional clubs of Scotland.

I've got no desire for my team to join any English league.I'm home and away with my team, it's tough enough getting to Inverness and Killie without bringing southampton & brighton into it too,

I 100% agree with craws suggestions, but with a wee tweak...16 team top league,12 team 2nd league, then regional north/south leagues meaning fans from the bluetoon don't have to try and get to dumfries.

Fair enough, but maybe each club can give fans votes for their preference. Either join the southern cousins, or stay in a re-formatted Scottish league.

I would have the premiership, the championship and then 2 feeders divisons (north and south), so limiting travel.
At least torquay fans would not have to go north of say Stoke and Inverness would not have to go south of Manchester. It would save Torquay fans sometimes going to the likes of Carlisle and darlington, as it stands.

Wise words and we would make top six then!
