Here's one to mull over.....

Your outside a room in a house. There is no other way into this room other than the door. The door is a normal wooden door (no glass panels or anything like that) and completely seals the room shut including on the floor. In the room is a standard household lightbulb dangling on the wire from the ceiling.
Outside the room is you with 3 lightswitches on the wall. 2 switches are connected to nothing but one switches on the light inside the room.
You have to operate the switches and can then enter the room. Upon entering the room you have to be able to decide which switch turns on the light. You can only enter once and once you touch the door your not allowed to return to the switches.

This is no trick question, there's no windows to the room it's completely sealed, you can't take the plugs off the wall to see which one has wires to it. Nothing like that etc etc

Enjoy!

Not bad everyone.... Seems like that one was too easy.

Here's another then....

Three students go to 2nd hand tv shop. They all put £10 in so they have £30 for a tv. They walk out of shop with the £30 tv when suddenly the manager realises the tv was actually £25. So he gives his assistant 5x £1 coins. Now the assistant realises she has nothing for dinner so she keeps £2 and gives the students the other 3 £1 coins, £1 each. So the students are happy enough as they've only had to pay £9 each for a tv.

Now if the students have only paid £9 each £27. And the assistant has £2 then that's only £29.
Answers on a postcard please...... :)

ahh an easy maths one!
The assistant gave 3 quid back making 28 quid, the other 2 was pocketed.

Students paid £10 then all had £1 back therefore only £9 each. 3x£9 is £27 plus the £2 for the assistant makes £29........

What happens if the swith is wired the wrong way round? and the light is already on. Now Google that! Code:
