Potential "customer" walked on to the forecourt on Tuesday, I watched him (and his daughter) looking around our used Juke selection and ventured out to see if I could help.
He was looking at a White one that was in the display, and as I approached he asked me how much it was (as it didn't have a price in it).
"I'm sorry Sir, this one is sold, hence the price has been removed but we do have others for sale on the other side of the showroom"
"OK I'll go and have a look" he replied, "but it's a shame that one is sold"
"Are you specifically looking for a White one Sir?" I asked.
"Oh no. I definitely don't want White".

Now, of you were a decent Salesman you'd have been able to convince him to wait until another white one came in and increase the price and make a bit more commission before Xmas.......😁

And they'll keep coming back time and time again.
