Just watching an all time classic film on Bravo.

The Exorcist.

Have to say though, I bet the young lass (Linda Blair) was mentally scarred for life during and after filming it!

I do wonder about kids in horror films. However, I guess that they're surrounded by the film crew, which must amount to dozens of people, the cameras, the lights etc. I wonder 'how real' it must seem to them on the film set?

What I always wondered. Was that as a child she wouldn't of been able to watch the film. But as a kid, wouldn't you want to see yourself in a movie that you'd just been the star of?

I finally saw it a few years ago and thought it was pretty crap to be honest. Not that scary really. The book was good, but just a bit grim.

If you want to watch something scary, but not at all gory, watch The Changeling. Not the recent film called "Changeling" with whats-her-face, but the 1980 chiller with George C. Scott. Turn out the lights and watch it at night and I defy you not to be spooked.
