2013 Open Day,

I have been in contact with Coventry Golf Club and have been offered the following;


Bacon rolls with coffee
9 or 18 holes of golf
soup and baguette
18 holes of golf
2 course meal (beef and guiness pie with veg, and apple pie with custard/cream)

looking at around £73.50


The date I have asked for is Friday 28th June, unfortunately societies are only welcome Wednesday and Thursday with occasional Fridays avaliable. Should you wish to play Wed or Thur then the price would be slightly less.

If this day happens then I will need to start collecting deposits of £10 almost immediately. The secretary has pencilled me in as an enquiry but until a deposit is paid then the date is not confirmed.

Looks a nice track and should only be an hours trip from here so definitely interested.

Only small point is not quite sure why if youre booking 9 months in advance you would choose a friday not a wednesday or a thursday and it be £10 dearer, surely thats enough notice to organise on any day of the week? ( or am i missing the reason for it being a friday?)

I was thinking a Friday may be easier for people travelling any distance, the date is open, just trying to get an idea of interest if any.

If I make the booking whilst the 2012 prices are advertised the club will guarantee the price will not rise
