    Spikeless shoes

If you want something for all year round then I'd recommend something with an "aggressive" sole. Callaway X-cage had a great sole that worked well in wet conditions but some spikeless shoes just don't have enough bite for that.

    Ball-marker moved (Van Rooyen)

Thanks. The local rule would explain that. Roll on 2019.

    Ball-marker moved (Van Rooyen)

So what's the deal with the rules officials and this decision not to penalize him for moving his marker. Completely contradicts decision 20-1/5.5 in my view.

Crows looking for worms ruined putting green

I was looking at the definition for Ground Under repair and only reference I can see to holes are those made by a greenkeeper. Could you please direct me to anything I'm missing?

    County Golf happy customer.

Just a quick shout out and kudos to County Gold and the customer service. It's becoming a tradition for me to buy my Dad a lined jumper each year and they offer some great value. Anyway. I'd placed an order last night and my router disconnected before completion. I logged in and the order...

    Google Home or Amazon Echo

Few weeks in and ironing out some issues. One of the things I found was my TP-Link stuff randomly disconnecting and causing issues usually all around the same time. Turned out to be due to the DHCP settings on my router as they renewed every 24 hours and of course I set everything up within...

Xbox monthly fees query - 2 consoles

Are you paying via xbox live for it at £6 per month????? If so you should really consider looking at CD-keys. £36 for 12 month sub. Same price you pay now (if it is £6) and you'd have two separate memberships. Another thing worth considering is how much do you play it? If you don't...

Did you reach your 2017 goals?

Didn't set myself a big target. Just wanted to avoid drifting back to 19. Ended up drifting to 18.4 before a few cuts and got down to 13.9. back up to 14.3 now but hope to try and build on that next year.

    Golf clubs 4 cash

Only problem I had with them was mislabeled box when using Argos as collection point via eBay. Was a bit of hassle to get sorted because in Argos I was met with a "computer says no" response. I could see the clubs, prove I'd ordered them, had my I.D but without the correct number on the...

    Google Home or Amazon Echo

How are you finding it. I recently ordered a Home and a Home mini along with some TP link bulbs and a TP link socket. Already have a Chrome cast. Was a bit of a coin toss for me between Alexa and Google and decided based on ecosystem I'm using. Have plug and some lights set up and they...

    Ireland, west side........

Depends what you at after. I'm assuming you prefer a base for a week and branch out from there rather than hop around. Staying near Ballina will offer Enniscrone, Carne, County Sligo, Strandhill within an hour's drive and a wee bit further pulls in County Sligo. Plenty of good walks. Ballina...
