Your Best / Worst Shots of 2010

Quite a few good ones but the best was my 2nd to our 8th. All down hill from about 150 yards. A nine iron to 5 yards before the top left of the green bounced right onto the green then rolled 30 odd feet down towards and eventually into the hole. Exactly how it should be played.

Worst was probably my drive off the 3rd at ours in the third round of the match play comp. Nobbed it about 30 yards up the hill. I was playing a guy I didn't know who didn't speak to me and kept on marching off after we had both played shots. He completely unnerved me. If he'd realised I couldn't putt he'd have won alot earlier then he did.

Best: Par-5 at Novo Sancti Petri, after Drive into the woods, chipping out, 3rd into the woods, chipping out, I holed my 55-yards pitch for a miracle par.

Worst: A Hunter-Mahan-type-duffed-chip on the 2nd hole at my home club with which I didn't lose my turn

Worst, so much choice - but I think it has to be Beau Desert, hacking out of the rough and nearly taking out Kevin (?) the GM photographer.

Best would be a 175 yard shot, with my 6 iron to within 3 inches of the flag.

Worst would be missing a 3 inch tap in, (see above) will not try to tap in with back of putter ever again. :-(
