Don't think of it as a downside. Think of it as, your opponent has 10 shots because they need them and you do not. Go out there and play your game and show your opponent why they need the 10 shots and you will beat them hands down.

I scored 41 points in todays stableford and have had my handicap cut by 1.5, so my new handicap is 13.0.

I am absolutely delighted, I finally managed to build on a good front nine, the problem now is can I play to it? At least I have a few 0.1 to piay with.

The only slight downside is that I now have to give my opponent in tomorrow knockout semi final an extra 2 shots making 10 in total.
