women advice

Minty - so let me get this right. Your wife isn't happy about you spending £180, you are afraid of telling her that a new cart bag is also on its way and that you also need to buy the wedges, and some of your relatives are likely to ask you where you got the money from. It sounds to me like you need to strap a pair on, especially if you haven't been married long, before the dye is cast. My advice (which will probably result in the divorce court!!) is to come clean about both the bag and the wedges, and to tell the relatives to keep the hell out of your financial affairs as it has nothing to do with them. Oh, and buy HID something nice as well.

Sound advice...

She has taken it on the chin so all is ok...... although I feel i'm in the doghouse some what.

Doghouse is fine. We've all been there many times before, and will be there many times in the future. You'll soon get out of there, don't worry about that.

oh no, once you've been in the dog house you may think you're out of there but it will be brought up from now until doomsday. all of her friends will know about it, so expect it from them as well.
