Why you should have the flag stick taken out

Can I just clarify something...are we talking about a ball hitting the flag or the flagstick (or pin)?

I often have this debate when I play with the wife. I like it in and she likes it out. So its game where its constantly in or out.;);)
If you like it in and she likes it out, maybe it's time for you to play around with someone else ;)

It's just that I'm taking quite a beating on the "Gun Activists" thread.

I think that I should just stop wandering into that neighborhood.
