Why do some men think they can just urinate where they want

As the title says, 3 times i have come across men just urinating out in the middle of the fairway. I undertsand that sometimes nature calls and have no issue with people nipping off to the tree's but when men just stand there in the open and urinate in the open it really winds me up. My 2 young daughters play golf and this is the last thing i want them to come across.

If they did this in the street they would be arrested. My experience is that most people are a bit more discrete about this.

unacceptable behaviour you should report them to the Ctee, Pro, or whoever is in charge of the Course, if we saw this (even on a Municipal) we would tell the culprit to do it out of sight in future.

Couldn't agree more, I've had to go a couple of times and I'm right in the trees so no-one can see me.

I've played with people who stood a foot off the tee and proceeded to urinate right there oblivious to me or the others, wind direction, smell etc etc
I also hate when they go at the 18th as I know I'm about to shake hands with a pee pee hand

Deary me... I've never heard of this before. Maybe you could mention something to the pro or secretary who could put a note onto the next email update (if you have such things) or a note on the notice board asking members (no pun intended) to be more discreet.

There is a public course about a 2 minute drive from my house. I play there occasionally, but use their driving range a lot due to the convenience They have a members club as well as being open to the public. A month or so back, I drove into the car park to go get some range tokens, the members club have a separate clubhouse away from the pro shop/ bar for joe pub. As I drove in, I could see a large number of guys in vests and shorts standing outside the members clubhouse drinking beer in the sun. When one of them turned round, unzipped, beer in one hand and started urinating up the side of the clubhouse in full view of everyone.....

Maybe I'm becoming a bit of a snob in my old age, but I'm so glad that I'm not a member there (did consider due to the closeness to home). I wonder if anyone else drove in at the same time with a view to joining......? uuuuurgh!!!

Can't believe people pee on the fairway!!! Report them immediately. I'll always go in the trees, and a sensible place in there too. I like to hope that people consider where others may have to play a shot from at the very least!

Ive played Golf for over 20years, and have never seen anyone p!ss in the middle of a fairway,
I think a formal letter of complaint to the Club would be minimum required, naming the culprit if known, and telling them firmly that if the practice wasnt stamped out, and visibly making all Members aware of the situation, I would be resigning my membership at renewal, and urging others to do same.
That should get a response.

I'm no prude, but that is just disgusting, and has no place on a Golf Course.

In 30 years of playing golf I have never ever seen anyone urinate in the middle of the fairway and I think that anyone who does needs their arse kicked util they stop doing so.

Must be some sort of weird place that the OP plays at.
