We all know that GM is the BEST golfing mag and that it was pleased to announce a few months back that no.1 in sales had been achieved. However, I noticed on the the front cover of the other (unmentionable) mag that they have declared "Britain's Biggest Selling Golf Magazine". How did that happen?

If we are referring to TG as the other mag, sorry but the quality is similar to comparing the Daily Star with the Times. TG appeals to the lowest common denominator and every article seems dumbed down or souped up with very few if any pieces of real journalism. Ironically the other mag from that stable Golf World is a great read and on a par with GM.

Agree with homer on this although I would suggest GW is just a touch behind GM because of its slight American biased in quite a few articles as they are shared from its sister mag.
Another quality but expensive read is new reissued golf illustrated but at £10 a pop it will never mass market.

I don't like TG. Layout is bitty and it has too much going on without enough substance. I do, however, like Golf World and subscribe to that as well as GM.
