Who wears a hat to play golf in?

I've just started wearing my flat cap in preparation for my OOM matches. It's getting some mixed comments currently as nobody has seen me wear a hat before, unless its chucking it down and anything from a peaked cap to a woolly hat can then be seen.

For those with personal agenda's, the wearing of these hats/caps is compulsory in forthcoming matches.

I do in sunny weather to avoid getting too hot or sunburnt.

I also wear a woolly had in winter to keep warm.

I sometimes wear one in wet weather too, to keep me dry.

Other than that I don't wear one at all.

I have a Lyle and Scott flat cap and a Titleist baseball cap.

Flat cap lives in the bag, Titleist comes out on sunny days.

As my hair is no mnore on top I always have a plain old baseball cap in the sun and a wooly hat for winter use. I did have one of those straw Greg Norman ones an age ago and look absurd looking at old pictures but felt I was cool and casual at the time
