Well im just back from doing the weekly shopping.
I should be on my way back from the course but yet again this week the weather had other plans for this morning....
I had originally booked a 9.30 tee time for myself and my Da but changed it last night to 11.10 with the weather that was coming....
I woke this morning to freezing fog and ice...... Drove to the club but the course was closed. ...Another week without a walkabout.. ..Still i suppose it gives me another week to get my course planner built up for myself.....

I got 3 holes with my 3 year old son. Great fun. It was winter greens but fun all the same. First time out with the new clubs Santa got him.

We are lucky down south weathers not been too bad ,looks set fair for next few days.Played yesterday stableford shot 38 points,todays stableford got 43 points,with 2 on 6th should win something and get cut.Thanks to all the guys who gave me tips on my post "3ft putts".The tips have really helped.However i 4 putted from 12ft today on a flat green missed 2 putts from 2ft looks like i could have a new post.

Played today in the sun, for the first time this year, had a jumper on for the first hole then played in a polo shirt for the rest, but it did get a little cold out of the sun on a few holes.

A great day and not bad scorecard (well for me)I hit 91 (par 71) and at the moment I'm playing off 26, but that might be cut very soon !!

Managed to play yesterday and today. Bad first 9 yesterday (11 points) then scored 20 on the back. Scored 40 points today including 2 blobs.

My game is looking OK at the moment and the custom fitted driver has been superb with a small increase in distance but, more importantly, a massive increase in accuracy.

Felt so good to be back on the course again.

I got 18 holes in today with my son, all normal greens & only 2 temp tee's, the rest normal!!

Played a course I havent played in years (High Throston in Hartlepool) and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

If it wasnt for a really bad 18th i'd have shot sub 90 but I made a complete arse up from start to finish and walked off with a 93.

Still, only 2nd time i've been out in yonks!

I got out and had one of those bad good rounds. Shot 77 (41 points) but made many silly mistakes like missing two 3ft putts for par!

18 holes for me today and a win in our winter league matchplay stage. Only 18 pairs left and all of them finished below us in the rounds so feeling positive.

January stableford (my blog has all the ins and outs) and managed 34 pts (14 out and 20 back). Scarily after about an hour it was still clubhouse leader. It won't win but nicely in the buffer zone. Very, very wet on the back nine but the greens were in great nick, relatively quick and very true.

Good to get my first full round of the year in though. Fell asleep in front of the sport. Don't know why (might be because I carried today) but I was really tired by the 16th.

Yeah played a round yesterday and loved it. Shot a net 70, wasn't great but my driver never worked once, I think with some practice I could have a good season this year. The course was in good condition after the rest, it drained really well after the bad rain on Friday.
