Which type of wedge in a greenside bunker?

Went down the par 3 today. Had plenty of time and no-one behind me so played 15 bunker shots on one hole. Found the 58 was much easier to get it out with the clubface just a bit open as opposed to 54 with the face wide open (will be user issue not equitpment ofc) however I think I’ll use the 58 more often now
