Which shots put the pressure on your game?

No particular shot worries me at all right now, it's just hooking them all up in one round that is the issue :D

Playing golf in shyte conditions worries me a lot more. Never liked it, never will.

Lost all confidence in pitch and chip shots around the green. Really annoying as this was the best part of my game still it wouldn't be golf if every area of your game was working at the same time !!!

from Imurg: Using the driver still pains me a lot. Sometimes spectacular, sometimes depressing. My greenside chipping has gone west recently as well. And the short putting.....

And still I cant beat the bugger

Fragger :D

The 1st putt on any green puts me under pressure.
I get so frightened of them that I barely hit them, leaving me with anything up to a 15 footer for my 2nd putt.

Hanging lies with the sandwedge
Ball above feet with a sadwedge,
one foot higher than the other lie
sandwedge from the fairway
sandwedge from a compacted bunker lie
sandwedge from a bare lie.

I am shanking my sandwedge 100% of the time at the moment for anything under a full shot.

Is that not because with a less than full shot, it's easier for us to fall back on the poor technique of swinging the arms and not rotating the body? It's helped me recently really concentrating on shoulder turn, no matter how little of it is required and the shanks that were creeping into my game a few weeks ago have all but disappeared.... Maybe someone who knows what they're talking about will let us know if i'm talking crap or not :)

sand or lob wedge over a greenside bunker from a tight or muddy lie. In fact the bunker has got nothing to do with it!

For me, at the moment, any shot fills me with a bit of fear, but in this order;

1. Tee off with a driver.
2. Any shot to a narrow fairway.
3. Any shot where there is a large water hazard to the side of the fairway.
4. As above, but with a large forest of trees.
5. Chip shots in the 40-80 yard range.
6. Chip shots from deep rough just off the green.
7. Fairway bunker.
