Which Pro are you ?

Definitely Phil Mickelson. I'm long but wild off the tee and my best part of my game is my chipping. I also putt very similarly to him unfortunately, very streaky and missing lots of short ones, and I have my hands way forward at address like he does with the putter.

He was my favorite player as a kid and so I spent the entire time practicing the flop shot with the lob wedge, so now it's probably the best part of my game and now I always chip with the 60*.

Unfortunately my biggest similarities to him are probably my belly and my terrible golf fashion sense....

Hold on Daniel, I'm sure I saw you play right handed. :D

Think I might be most similar to Nick Dougherty in build, and playing ability (until last week). He missed 21 cuts in a row, I have gone up point one in my last 12 comps. He of course may not be concentrating fully at the momemt being married to the rather nice Di. :D

Yes I am right handed and others who saw me play will also tell you I'm also not very long or good at the flop shot but please just go along with it! :D

I have to say Paul casey, (minus the being a miserable git!)
Similar size and build, had a couple good seasons, now playing like a tool, and can 3 putt from 5 feet!

I like this thread. Funny and really made me think.

Until his recent return to form I'd have said David Toms - unassuming, reasonable all round player, won something once a long time ago but no one can quite remember what.

However as he has now won again and I haven't, I'll go for...

Wayne Grady - unassuming, reasonable all round player, won something once a long time ago but no one can quite remember what, etc, etc, plus wrong side of 50 and now spends too much time talking about golf and not enough actually playing.

Sandy lyle- used to win a lot, but can still hit it ok but no idea where it's going now and too many blobs

Although I prefer a Montecristo #4 as opposed to a Cohiba ;)

Darren Clarke

Got a sense of humour and a perspective on life, but prone to the dark moody clouds on a poor round.

Learned the game on Irish Links, showed promise when younger, lost my way a bit in the middle and is coming back for an indian summer.

Loves nothin better than a post-round pint of the black stuff and a bit of craic

Tommy 2 Gloves Gainey! Swing as attractive as fattimer whitbread and am like trying to hit it into another continent with very occasional success!

I'm glad i started this now

(although i really had hoped that a Paula Creamer clone had come on ! ;)

Do you think Mike W could arrange a GM event with each of us paired with our alter egos ;)
