Which major or how many?

Tiger will equal Jack's record in my opinion. He may even go on to beat it. The suspect driving is his achilles heel and if he has a bad driving day he will struggle. He's also not as good a putter as he once was but that said I think he has the ability to equal Jack at worst.

Oh he has the ability of that there is no doubt I just don't think he has the time any more. His putting was probably the part of his game that always got him over the line but I'm with you that his putting is not as strong as it was.

If he keeps this form then we'll have an interesting year.

he is having putting lessons from Stricker I believe. Still nails his fair few. I agree its his driving that costs him. If that is on song then there is no one better imho.

I am not a massive Tiger fan but golf is a much better spectacle with him playing well and amongst the leaders.

I would like to see him win a couple more but doubt he will manage to win another 5!

Only 4, you say it like its easy. 4 majors is a lot.

I reckon he'll remain totally competitive till about 43 or so when fitness and his dodgy knee may be a bigger factor in his game than his golfing ability.

Not saying 4 is easy, but we're talking about the best player in the modern game. Say he has another 6 -8 years left at the top, that gives him upto 32 goes at winning 5 of them.

Maybe so but he has had how many attempts since his last win?

I'm not convinced he has enough years left to do it. He certainly has or had the ability, gut feeling is he'll finish at 14.

I think he definately still has the ability to win more majors. I'd hazard a guess at at least a couple. I'd say most likely a Masters (think he will have a good chance this year - maybe a tight one duelling it out with Phil)) and maybe an Open, especially if the weather is good and the links are hard and running so he can leave the driver in the bag. I think he'd particularly enjoy winning it at Muirfield (this year's venue) simply because Jack did. Hmmm so..there you go Tiger to win both of those this year (weather permitting)!

However he still seems a bit too inconsistent with the big stick off the tee to make me feel he's going to be a favourite for a US Open though.

As for the PGA he has to have as a good a chance as any over the next 4-5 years.
