Just picked up these after all the heads of my Cobra set started snapping off. When I purchased my Cobra clubs I spent weeks reseaching mbegginers clubs and these MD clubs were a close second but I didnt trust how cheap they were. Turns out I was wrong and now I dont trust exspensive clubs.

They are fantastic and look great

MD make some cracking clubs for a cheaper brand. Their drivers are cracking for new players too.

Anything from the Ping "G" range or anything from the Callaway "X" range.
Also Cleveland CG7 or TaylorMade Burner ranges.
EBay is an option but you do have to be careful
Golfbidder is as safe as houses but more expensive - 4-pw Cally X-20 in fair condition are £183 for example..Pings tend to be a touch more(£200)...Clevelands a bit less.(£170).

Are Cleveland CG7s that forgiving? I have a set and I wouldn't say they have the characteristics of Super GI clubs; not a particularly thick sole or a particularly big head.
