1 of the free game vouchers for attending this years Scottish golf show is an Ayrshire golf voucher, I have no idea of any of these tracks SO which one out of these would you pick ? A bit of info about the course too from any on here who have played them would help, cheers.
Troon Darley, Fullarton, Lochgreen. Belleisle, Dalmilling, Girvan,
Maybole, or Seafield.

Personally Belleisle or Troon in that order. I've never played them but I have walked through Belleisle on several occasions and it looks a lovely course. We went to my brother-in-laws wedding reception next to Troon a while ago and I have to say it looked a bit bland but it's Troon so would love to play that one too.

I'd play Lochgreen. Don't really rate any of the Troon Muni's if I'm being honest. Belleisle is nice and I don't mind Seafield.

Darley in the Spring. Best of the bunch.
Belleisle in the Autumn. Underated Braid course IMO
Lochgreen is an ex Open Qualifier. Half a dozen good holes in the middle otherwise a bit of a slog.
Girvan is short but a bit of fun to play [apart from the last two holes which are quite horrendous.]
Pass on the others.

Try to avoid weekends as they are very busy.

Off the course Belleisle is like a bombsite at the moment. They are spending £6m upgrading the hotel and building a new golf offices. Portacabin catering.

The Belleisle course used to be very good , the hotel was very old and quaint, but food was very good ,silver service if i remember. the Darley and Lohcgreen can be hit and miss .
At one time you had to play the Seafield before the Belleisle when you booked a visiting party

Darley every time, used to be ranked 5th hardest course in Scotland to play to your handicap. Don't be fooled by the easy looking 1st and 18th holes as once you cross the road to the 2nd it really starts to toughen up.

Darley or Lochgreen, in that order. Play through there quite regularly and enjoy both these courses. Bellisle in Ayr isn't what it used to be. Fullarton is short but usually quieter than it's two neighbours. Girvan is fun on a nice day but that's about all there is to say about that.

It may toughen up however its still a mess. No definition, no rakes bunkers, poor fairways, average at best greens and people walking dogs, prams etc over the course.

Certainly not my cuppa. I preferred the longer track think its Lochgreen, also not great but a better golf course.

Good value clubhouse though for food and beverage.

I would agree with Darley and Loch Green. Fullerton is known locally as the "boys course" but I quite like it and is good as a warm up for the other two if you are planning to spend the day there.

The links part of Girvan are good however the parkland holes are pretty ordinary apart from the burn running through it. To be honest though it has been a very long time since I played Girvan.
