Which County has the Least Well Respected Golf Courses

Leicestershire is totally bereft of top courses.

Just did a quick search on Google and on the "top 100 golf courses of the world" site under Leicestershire it lists for the top 3, Luffenham Heath, Longcliffe and Stapleford Park.
How many people outside the area have even heard of those?

As mentioned above, there are a few decent courses in Notts but those and Woodhall Spa aside the East Midlands is not the place to be if you're a course connoisseur.

Burnham and Berrow is probably the best known this way but apart from that i dont think we have another top 100 club

This a wind up right?

Royal Porthcawl, Royal St Davids, Pennard, Tenby, Aberdovey, Pyle and Kenfig, Ashburnham, Machynys, Celtic Manor......and that's just off the top of my head!

Must be using the wrong bait.... someone was meant to get all outraged and tell me Wales isn't an English county.
