I'm going on a golf week round southport so need more golf clothing pants tops like the loud ones of bright. Where's good for them that ain't to expensive. Also where's good for normal golf clothing

Sports direct is actually OK, i bought a new adidas polo in there last week for £20. they had some decent stuff!

Just shop around, browse the net, golf shops etc. Loads of bargains come out every week.

Sports Direct do a range of single colour bright trousers, I've got a purple pair and my mate has orange ones. £10 a pair or 2 for £14

Tell me you are not wearing them on Friday.

Admittedly, most of my golf clobber is Sports Direct specials.. £7 for a pair of black golf trousers, comfy and decent quality, but baggy as hell. Also, a few polo shirts from £5-£10 a pop. Only complaint is a couple of them are short-bodied, and so easily pop out of my trouser waistband... could be to do with my ample belly right enough! :D

Bought 2x Palm Grove shirts from American Golf a couple of weeks ago in their sale for The Open for £8 each.. washed once each and are baubled to hell.Comfy though, and were nice to wear in the warmer weather due to their materials.

The Golf Shop Online is a great shout for well-priced gear!

I agree with sports direct. Just bought loads of last seasons Callaway stuff for 60%-80% off. This included a £250 rain jacket for £75!

Not overly cheap, but Royal and Awesome do some brilliant, bright trousers and 'plus 2s' with matching flat caps - £49.95 for trousers which are great quality. If you want to treat yourself, they're well worth a look.

Dunno if I'm allowed to post a link to their site, but a quick Google search for them won't take long!

Sports Direct is dreadful in my opinion, poor quality and misleading with "70%" tags on nearly everything

Sizes seem wrong too, ordered some XL polo tops and all of them seemed more like Large took them all back plus material was like cheap T shirt material. They don't refund but give you a credit note in return

There are better places to buy, Matalan has decent value but good quality polo shirts from brands such as LEE COOPER

Couldn't disagree more!

I've bought loads of gear from Sports Direct from Trousers, shirts, golf shoes and other odds and sods for other uses. I've never had any issues with quality and VFM whereas TKMax on the other hand bought loads of stuff from there thats just been junk! But its individual experience.

Sports direct are good, I have a pair of Dunlop grey trousers and black trousers, the sizes are a bit hit & miss (anywhere between 36 inch and 40 inch tend to fit - although that could be depending on the size of the curry the night before!).

I've tried the 2 for £14 trousers, they are extremely wide I found, maybe better for the taller gent but at 5ft 10 I'm average.

They do have some good deals on t-shirts: I got some nice Nike polos for £15.

It's worth keeping an eye out on American golf, they do decent deals on makes like Palm Grove & Greg Norman every so often.
