Nine this afternoon. Glorious sunshine but bitterly cold, greens frozen solid. Still great fun - just nice to be out.

Just got come from shooting 5 over at my second course I am a member at, lovely day only 28C.

Played Boundary Lakes yesterday. Course in decent condition.
They are currently changing the course so was good to play the 3 new holes on the current layout. The eighth is a cracker, lovely tee shot onto a plateau fairway and an approach downhill to a green with a stream in front of it. The ninth is a nothing hole; 240 yard par 4 that feels like a temporary hole and probably would have been a par 3 if there wasn't already 7 on the course. The 11th is okay but, again, feels like a temporary hole before the new layout is completed.

Off to Perth today to play a 9 hole course Armadale as a warmup for Saturday at Chequers, a stableford comp as a guest, forecast is for 35C, so will drink a few beers on the way round.
