I dont mean which shots do you play well or which shot is your favourite. I mean which shot do you walk up to with no fear cos you just know youre going to hit well? You know, the shot you can guarantee to play no matter how else youve played that day.

For me it would be bunker shots. Plugged, heavy sand, mouth of the bunker, doesnt matter what kind of bunker shot im faced with i always believe ill have the ball out without any drama. And its came from practising bunker play after every round while i wait on my taxi to turn up.

Any of them. I'm capable of hitting most shots well at times but just as capable of making a nonsense of them. As someone kindly pointed out to me in the stableford on Sunday I have all of the shots but not necessarily in the right order

I must be a 'worrier'. I can't honestly say that any particular shot gives me the confidence that it 'will' come off without fail.

Some shots I'm more comfortable with than others, but nothings a dead cert.

Current stats show that I should have nothing really to worry about with my tee shots, but it's still a biggy in my head!

The 70-120 yard bunkershot. Ive had the the pleassure of hitting two screamers this past two weeks into our last and have to say, the results beat any 300 yard drive.

Funnily enough I also generally feel confident with a greenside bunker shot as long as the sand isn't hard packed. Also been hitting my 5 wood very sweetly lately. Preferred lies probably been helping with that. Other than that, the 2 inch tap in.

I'm confident of every shot I play coming off, know I can do them all, its just whether it does that time !!

Except Bunkers........not my forte.......needs work !!

I always feel pretty confident with my putting, even though i wouldn't say it's the best part of my game but i always feel confident over a putt either a little 3 footer or a 30 footer.

The drill i used to practice my bunker shots is drop a ball, draw a line 2 inches behind it and the just go along the line striking it. And remember to follow through the shot,if you dont theres a chance you wont be leaving the beach in 1.

anything with my irons and wedges as I seem to hit these very consistantly.

Driver/woods/hybrids I have removed from my back for now as I am that crap with them and losing confidence every time I hit one of them :(

Has to be the running chip shot for me. No matter what I always fancy them. Last time out in a medal I played the worst game of my life fatting and thinning everything. 14th hole got my first bump and run 4 foot off the green 35 foot to the flag read the green, 6 iron, chipped it in to save par. Only good shot I hit that day.

I don't know about 'best' shot but I'm really enjoying my 'Bubba' drives at the moment, frankly I don't care where they go, just love the feeling of trying to swing outta my shoes :)

Yep that's the way I learned. Another tip which helped me was look at the spot on the sand that you want to hit, not at the ball. That helps make sure you hit the sand first.

Must say a lesson on bunker shots a few years back really transformed my bunker play and I would strongly recommend getting one to anyone who struggles out of the sand.

I can honestly say there's not one single shot (apart from the obvious 6" putt) that I can be confident will turn out right every time.

I know that when I have blobbed and im still 175 yards from the hole, and I should really pick up, but because the pressure is off, I will hit a screamer 5 wood to within 10 ft of the flag

Ask Imurg, He's seen it happen

Fragger

If I have any shot where I'm happy with the distance and correct clubbing I love to hit mid irons.
I'm always confident they'll go well.

I also love to hit my rescue wood, especially from light semi-rough.
