Just got back before the incessant drizzle started - aimed for 30 points playing off 12 (5 below my club Hcp) - managed 29 so not too disheartened considering 3 blobs on back nine.

14 hole winter league stableford on Saturday 28 points again I reckon (lose two shots from the 4 holes missed on the round)
18 holes on Sunday, 37 points as an educated guess.

1 out of 1 correct so far! Tomorrow, Id love to beat 37 but reckon this is still on.

11 birdie putts in the 14 holer today and missed every one of them... I'll take 11 GIR over the 14 every time though.

1 over par for first 6 holes, level par for last 5 holes and a big bunch of sh*te in the middle!!

Still, tough day with the wind and pleasing to pull it back towards the end rather than descend into farce!

first medal of the year. Haven't managed to play to my Handicap in the last 3 months so have got back up to 15.
prediction or optimistic hope, on a par 68 course, 85 net 70 will make me feel a bit better

almost did it. 86 nett 71. 45 first 9, 41 2nd.
Fooled by the very slow, wet thawing greens for a 3 putt and then the dreaded s****k from 50 yds into a bunker on the first nine, but very steady on the way home

Aagggghhhhhh, we 3 jacked the last to lose 1 down.

Really good game for a pre season friendly though. 2 under par stood on the 10th tee was good enough to be all square!!! That 3 whack took us back to level par for 18 holes scratch greensome, happy despite the loss.

Predicted 27 and let myself down and had two 13 point halves. Strange thing was I really, really didn't hit too many bad shots apart from around and on the greens. Had one bad drive at the 2nd that was a no score as a consequence but somehow managed to conjour bogey or worse from good positions. Very frustrating but I'm not actually overly diasppointed.
