Have you won the lottery? Jesus H christ to cost of that lot is about what I earn a year!!!!!!! You really shouldn't brag like that. It's not nice to read for those of us who scramble about trying to get enough money to play our own course let alone ones that cost the earth to play.

Are you serious?

Captainron, isn't responsible for your inability to keep up with his, and others, income levels ?

I only pay £30 odd a year as an associate member of a course nearby to maintain a valid handicap so I don’t have a massive annual overhead.

Only played a handful of courses over here so far, so there's a good chance I'll be playing a fair few new ones during the rest of the year.

I'm playing Alicante in a couple of weeks, and then definitely need to tick off Las Colinas at some point in the not too distant future.

I have got the following Open competitions lined up but none are "new"

Dunaverty (April)

Fortrose and Rosemarkie (May)
Moray Old (May)

Royal Aberdeen (September)

I will enter a couple of others through the season. Not sure I'll tick off any new courses this year.

I'm booked in for another indoor game on the simulator next week - can't decide between Interlachen, The Copperhead @ Innisbrook, Troon or Portrush.

Does that count?

Hmmm...I could play a fair number of really good golf courses for the £1800 I am paying this year...does make me wonder - but only for a moment or two - Full Membership for me :)
